Open IE and open Central Packaging Factory (collaborate.contoso.com/sites/CLEM/Apps/SitePages/Home.aspx) à Apps – Packaging Factory à Phase 4 Packaging QA

  1. Select an application from the list (for this example, we will use Snagit by TechSmith)
  2. Click the edit icon next to the application, which opens a window with custom views.

  1. Select, Testing

Application packaging lifecycle à Testing view

  1. Scroll down until you find the field named, Testing Environment Package Location and click the hyperlink, which should open a window to the source file location (see next image)

  1. If there is an error with the link, make the appropriate adjustments to the link if they are obvious, or return to packaging team to fix.

NOTE: If link does NOT connect; use ADMIN ACCT and log into CLEM. The issue is that you already authenticated with one acct  into the server.
Logging into the domain with another acct will grant access to the links (source files).

  1. Navigate up one level to the parent, right-click the app source folder and hit Ctrl-C to copy the folder

  1. Navigate to \\<ShareRoot>\CM_PACKAGES
and paste the folder into the root, then open the folder that you just copied and copy the full UNC path (Ctrl-C) from the Explorer path box
