From a multi-billion dollar distributor to a startup that’s just a couple of years old, the verdict is unanimous: winning a Partner of the Year Award is a seriously big deal.
Pride and positivity
At Dot Net Solutions, the accolade of winning UK Partner of the Year was naturally a very proud achievement. “Everyone inside the business has really pulled together and focused all their energy helping Microsoft land and win with their cloud message” says Dan Scarfe, Dot Net’s founder. “The market is electric and we are honoured to be working so closely with Microsoft at this incredibly exciting time.”
For Ross Lister at Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Partner of the Year nFocus Testing, their award represents “recognition for the excellent service the nFocus team strive consistently to provide to customers.”
Mitchell Feldman at Cloudamour, the 2014 Cloud Partner of the Year - Packaged Solutions, focuses on the “positive energy the victory injected into the company. Everyone is so proud of the company; they all feel that they are equally a part of the success.”
It’s a similar picture at Distribution Partner of the Year Tech Data. Vice President of Software and Cloud Reza Honarmand can see how his team is “both excited and motivated by receiving this award, and particularly pleased that the effort, by so many people in our European and country operations, has been acknowledged amongst such a strong and diverse number of entries.”
Rising above the competition
For almost all the winners, their award represents an unbeatable way to gain competitive advantage in today’s busy markets.
For the team at Dot Net Solutions, “winning this award will have a transformational effect on our business. It’s a huge endorsement from Microsoft and will strengthen even further our reputation in the market and ability to deliver.”
Or as Mitchell Feldman at Cloudamour puts it, “winning this award has had an instant and tangible positive effect on our business. Almost immediately, we’re starting to attract new customers….and we no longer have to establish our credibility to our prospects. Sales and Account Managers act like they’re invincible – and anyone with sales experience knows that’s a golden trait.”
Reza Honarmand at Tech Data also points to the energy and self-belief the award has created. As he puts it, “it will inspire us to be even more ambitious and inventive and drive more growth with Microsoft and its partners.”
And for Ross Lister, the WPC award recognises nFocus’ efforts to be recognised as “the preeminent testing company in the Microsoft space: and winning this award is evidence of that expertise.”
