IT Camp: Extend your Datacenter with Microsoft Azure
Your business requires a flexible IT infrastructure that can scale on demand. When you extend your datacenter to meet the public cloud, you are working in a hybrid cloud model. A hybrid cloud gives you the best of both worlds, so you can take advantage of external resources when it makes sense for your business. Attend this IT Camp to learn how the Microsoft hybrid cloud combines Microsoft Azure with your own datacenter, or a hosting service providers datacentre.
You will learn about Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and Storage – the core building blocks of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). You will also be introduced to the main Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings of Azure – Azure Websites and Azure SQL. Identity in the cloud using Microsoft Azure Active Directory will also be covered and we will explore Backup and DR scenarios using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery services.
You will come away from this IT Camp with enough knowledge to start building your own test environment in Azure and testing workloads!

IT Camp: Implementing a Mobile-First World with Microsoft Enterprise Device Infrastructure
The volume and diversity of devices users want to use to access corporate assets grows every day – everything from tablet to phone to wearable devices. While you understand that enabling these devices will make your users more productive, you may also struggle with how to ensure the corporate assets being accessed and the data being stored are secure. Explore the new enterprise mobility capabilities of Windows 8.1 that make recovery, security and identity management of Windows and non-Windows platforms easier. You’ll also take a deep dive into key enterprise scenarios like identity, information and app protection as well as covering mobile device management and drilling into the app management features of Microsoft’s MDM and VDI solutions.
