Just a quick note to let you know about a new hotfix that we have available. The hotfix addresses an issue that can occur after Update Rollup 5 for Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Virtual Machine Manager (VMM 2012 R2 UR5) is installed. The issue is that a registered server message block (SMB) share fails to appear as a target path option when you try to deploy a new High Availability (HA) virtual machine (VM) to a cluster.
For additional details and a link to the hotfix, please see the following:
KB3039296 - Registered SMB shares do not appear as a target path option when you deploy a new HA VM in System Center 2012 R2 Virtual Machine Manager (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3039296)
