Our instructors Jerry Nixon and Daren May made the first part of this series one of the most dynamic we’ve had in our studio this year, and you won’t want to miss the second live installment on May 2 starting at 8 am PDT. Essentials of Developing Windows Store Apps Using C# will cover creating the User Interface layout and structure using XAML, the AppBar and layout controls, deploying a Windows Store app to the Windows Store or an enterprise store, and more. You can bring any questions you want answered by our experts in real time, and Jerry and Daren will be creating samples and showing demos of features you’ll want to start implementing in your own code.
This series on windows app development using C# is also a great step towards getting an MCSD: Windows Store Apps certification, and Microsoft Virtual Academy students can get a voucher for up to 15% off the price of the certification pack (exams 483, 484 and 485). If you are interested in certification, I recommend the Born To Learn developer study group, and you can also use the Roadmap for Windows Store apps using C# from the Windows Dev Center to put together your own study plan.
We hope to see you live from Redmond on May 2!
