With the Worldwide Partner Conference coming up in a few weeks, we thought it would be best to highlight the key events the Canadian team will be hosting for you, our partners. We know that the Partner Celebration will have Gwen Stefani, but our events have so much to offer! So, here’s a behind the scenes look at what we have in store.
The Canadian Regional Keynote, taking place at the Roy Thomson Hall, on Sunday July 10th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, is definitely a must-attend. Janet Kennedy, President, Microsoft Canada and Jason Brommet, Partner Lead, Microsoft Canada will be hosting the Canadian keynote. They will provide a brief year in review, highlight the investments Microsoft made in Canada, including the recently announced Canadian datacentres in Toronto and Quebec, and the new opened Microsoft Centre of Excellence in Vancouver. They will also be presenting the IMPACT Awards recognizing outstanding achievement and partnership in FY16.
Looking ahead to FY17, Janet Kennedy and Jason Brommet will also provide insights into the digital transformation, how partners can work with Microsoft to help customers transform their business and will introduce new members of the partner organization, including the new SMSP Lead Charlotte Burke.
You can also attend the Canadian Managed Partner Session taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (Level 700) on July 14th from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Join the Canadian Partner Leadership team as we close out a week of exciting news and business updates with an executive session specifically for our managed partners in Canada.
At WPC, you will hear about Microsoft’s strategic direction, product news, and how we enable partners and customers to achieve more. The Canadian session, will provide you with the opportunity to understand how this vision and strategy comes to life in Canada and what it means for our managed partners. We will give you an overview of our core focus areas for the upcoming fiscal year, targets and associated investments, as well as co-selling motions across SMB and Enterprise.
Finally, we cannot forget about our most exciting event, the Canadian Party at the Royal Ontario Museum, or how we Canadians call it, the ROM! Join us at the party on Tuesday, July 12th at 9:00pm to party with fellow partners, and dinosaurs! #DinosInLights #PartyWithPredators
What better way to connect with industry leaders and grow you network than at a party! Zoom by the dessert station, chat while jamming to the DJ’s sweet beats, lose you voice as you sing along with the band and high-five with your new friends while toasting to a great week. The only thing we ask, is that you try not to dance like your dad.
If you have yet to register for WPC, make sure to register today to join us before it’s too late! This is not a show you can afford to miss!
