Always wished you could leave a message for a contact on Skype using video? Now you can. Yesterday, Skype released the preview of Skype Video Messaging for Skype for Windows desktop, which runs on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 desktop. The feature app will also be available shortly for Skype for Windows 8.
With Skype Video Messaging, record a video message and send it to a contact at any time, whether they’re online or not. They’ll be able to watch it the next time they’re available.
Skype Video Messaging is also in preview for Skype users of various other platforms, including Skype for Mac and Skype for iPhone. For additional details, check out the Skype blog post.
Try it out and let Skype know what you think during this early release of the feature!
