Today I had the privilege of speaking at 3 different Windows 8 Game Developer sessions around Scirra’s Construct2.
I had some students very interested in building a Windows 8 match game. I can’t wait to play them! The conference held about 210 students and faculty from the surrounding communities. There were sessions that covered Social Media, IT Security Risk and Reward, Career Outlook, Project Life Cycles, Health/Tech Simulators, Research and Tracking, Windows 8 Game Development, Building Logic in Scratch, Minecraft and Java for Gamers, Working in the Game Industry and Cyber Security.
This was a great event for the students and the community.
Thanks to Raquel Paz Suarez, the “High School Director of Admissions- Keiser University –Orlando Campus”
My 3rd presentation on Scirra’s Construct2 with the last standing group of students.
210 students strong, the keynote was delivered by Bill McCorey – Universal and his great story around risking his life to hike Mt Rainier.
Thank you for the speaker award - this is pretty sweet!
