Sunday Surprise: .NET Conf 2017

.Net ConfEvery year the .NET community, the .NET Foundation, and Microsoft organize a free, three-day virtual developer event called .NET Conf. This year’s conference returns on Tuesday, September 19th and runs until Thursday, September 21st.

Overview

While the agenda has not been set, the live stream’s content will focus on .NET Core and ASP.NET Core, C#, F#, Roslyn, Visual Studio, Xamarin, and much more. A wide selection of sessions will highlight how to build for the web, mobile, desktop, games, services, and libraries on a variety of platforms and devices all with .NET.

The online event will feature speakers from the .NET product teams like Scott Hanselman (@shanselman‏), Scott Hunter (@coolcsh), Kasey Uhlenhuth (@kuhlenhuth), and Mads Torgersen (@MadsTorgersen).

How Can You Participate?

There are several ways you can get involved with .NET Conf 2017.

  • Save the date: Visit the dotnetconf.net site to download a calendar reminder.
  • Follow along on social media and help promote the event: Be the first to learn about schedule announcements by following .NET Conf on Twitter and Facebook:
  • Watch: Once live, the event will be streaming via Channel 9 for free with no registration required. If you miss the live event, all sessions will be recorded and available on-demand via the Channel 9 website.
  • Host or attend a local event: .NET Conf is partnering with organizers around the globe to host local, in-person launch events and watch parties between September 19 and October 31, 2017. Watch the livestreamed conference and have fun learning with your local community!
