Hi All. This has been something I've wanted to do for a long time i.e. put all of the learning resources on one page for learning Azure and Certification. This is also a placeholder to save my Ignite 2017 Presentation for Azure Architecture 70-534 session. I will post the slides and recording link once available. If you want more generic Azure learning besides "Certification Prep" just skip below a little

For the Azure shortcuts page, go to aka.ms/Azure/Shortcuts. Want to read more about what Azure Stack is? Goto aka.ms/AzureStack for the high level overviews or aka.ms/AzureStack/Hybrid for the complete whitepaper. One of my favorite finds for learning is on Channel 9 called the Azure Stack Channel = aka.ms/AzureStack/Channel. At the last MS Ignite 2016, there were also about a dozen sessions on Azure Stack. Find those at aka.ms/AzureStack/Ignite.
At the core of it all, my IaaSOpsGuide will probably have the most usefulness for both Azure and Azure Stack as that page provides foundational information on Storage, Compute, Networking and Identity. You can find that at aka.ms/Azure/IaaSOpsGuide.

Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates - skills
Once you are done with the POC setup, is to grab some QuickStart Templates! Azure ARM Templates are how resources are deployed. Get them at aka.ms/AzureStack/Templates. Read Template Deployment, to understand about what JSON templates are and how they are used in Azure and Azure Stack. To take your learning to the next level with some free training, I'd recommend these resources below to eventually become an ARM Template Ninja!
- If you are not familiar with ARM, start with Azure Resource Manager overview
- Deploying, Organizing and Securing Applications with the Azure Resource Manager - MS Ignite. Great overview of what can be done with ARM and Templates
- Azure Resource Manager DevOps Jump Start - Microsoft Virtual Academy - great online Template class!
- World Class ARM Templates - Considerations and Proven Practices -Download. This is must read for Architects and looking at all of the possibilities with ARM Templates.
PowerShell Skills
In Addition to knowing how to craft ARM Templates, from the resources above, PowerShell Skills also come in handy for either Azure or Azure Stack. And who better to teach you than the inventor himself in these two online courses....most excellent Mr. Snover!
