Often, the first step in a successful customer security and compliance engagement is an assessment of the customer’s current environment during the pre-sales process, but partners are sometimes at a loss on how to get started.
The good news is that Microsoft offers funded assessment initiatives that partners can use and build upon to engage their customers and drive security awareness. Partners can take advantage of these Security Sales Plays to target the security needs and questions their customers may have and at the same time receive funding to help drive professional services engagements.
Microsoft funded engagements help partners deliver real value for their customers and reinforce their position as a trusted advisor by providing actionable insights specific to each unique environment. Partners can make more informed recommendations and provide the right solution for their customers’ needs, ultimately building closer, more profitable long-term relationships.
Join the Modern Workplace – Security Community call on Tuesday, November 21 at 10 am PT for part one of two in the series on how to use Microsoft funding to drive security offerings:
The call will highlight:
Microsoft 365 E5 Security Assessment
This offering includes funding to support 2-day assessment through partner and to cover one or more workloads within the Microsoft 365 E5 Suite, including a pre-engagement meeting with a customer, security assessment, and a post-event delivery of prioritized and actionable Microsoft 365 E5 solutions security roadmap based on customer security objectives and requirements. The partner is responsible for defining the engagement with the customer. The engagement requires a 20:1 new revenue return on investment for Microsoft 365 E5 opportunities.
