4.85 acres had to be cleared after the Gopher Tortoises were relocated to there final living area in the back of the farm. There were large front loaders and trac-hoes to up root the trees - some very large in size, but no majestic trees were found nor harmed. Lots if oaks were raked and burned in a large burn pile – burned only by approved, certified “Fire Burners” :) The fires were huge and the dust and smoke lasted a few days. The land was then disc’d and leveled for planting. We even found some unexpected unusual objects when clearing the land, check out below!
