Most developers like the idea of maximizing the amount of revenue generated by their apps.
One way to increase the chances of your app becoming a hit with multiple audiences is to target multiple markets.
To that end, Windows Phone Developer Blog writer Bernardo Zemora has put together a list of resources to help Windows Phone developers “make the best possible decisions about markets, language support, localization and OS support.”
For example, Zemora says he publishes his apps in as many of the 191 Windows Phone markets as he can. “So far during calendar year 2013, the Windows Phone Store has seen the largest number of app downloads in China, Latin America, United States and Canada, as well as several European markets,” he reports.
Take a look at the chart at the top of this post to get an idea of the number of app downloads per market in 2013, then head on over to the Windows Phone Developer Blog to get Zemora’s tips on localizing and monetizing your Windows Phone apps.
