Now that TechEd Europe 2013 has drawn to a close, we wanted to thank all of our readers globally for your participation here, on twitter and Facebook. We enjoy giving you the best possible information for these events. With that in mind, let’s look back at what happened last week.
- “Running with the Bulls at TechEd Europe 2013” – we kicked things off with the quick reference to all of the important areas for the conference. This is a very handy post for hitting key content areas.
- “TechEd Europe 2013 Launches with Cloud OS Product Previews, Partner Announcements, and Customer Case Studies” – this is the big dog of our posts for the week. It has links to Brad Anderson’s keynote address on Day 1. If you were paying attention this week you already know we released Previews of an impressive array of products including Windows Server 2012 R2, System Center, SQL Server, Windows Server Essentials and quite a few others. Interested in grabbing the previews? Go right ahead. They are available now from the evaluation center.
- “Getting Started with Technical Drill Downs for the New Windows Server, SQL Server and System Center Previews” – this blog post provides information and links to technical drill downs on Windows Server storage and SQL Server 2014 In-memory OLTP. We will have many more technical pieces coming. We’ll first initiate a series of conversations on Brad Anderson’s “In the Cloud” blog. We’ll follow that with technical drill downs so stayed tuned for those. Be sure and read Brad’s post titled, “TechEd Europe: Big Bets & Big Opportunities”. It’s a short worthy read.
- Next up were customer case studies and information. See “Telefónica Uses Hybrid-Cloud Strategy to Keep their Customers Connected” and “A Beautiful Solution from Aston Martin Using Windows Intune” for a couple of great stories.
There was a ton of information disclosed last week. Put Microsoft’s Cloud OS Vision to work today by downloading them from the evaluation center. Get training by watching the on-demand replays for the sessions delivered last week, and also check out some great shots from TechEd Europe here.
What’s Next?
We have quite a few things cooking for July. For instance, we’ll be selecting top session videos from TechEd North America and TechEd Europe. We’ll keep you apprised of those selections throughout the month of July, so get out of the heat and watch the best presenters.
Keep an eye here and on Brad Anderson’s blog. We’ll provide a unique look at the Cloud OS vision through Brad’s eyes then we’ll follow those with technical drill downs written by the product group managers. We hope you enjoy all of that and as always, let us know how we’re doing and what you need that we might be missing.
