When it comes to dispatching zombies, a sledgehammer will work. So will a chainsaw. But put them together to make a sledgesaw – now that’s form and function, and it’s exactly the kind of stylish, combination zombie-slayer you can build in the new “Dead Rising 3.”
Coming this November exclusively on Xbox One, the wildly popular zombie franchise is back with a rich, massive open world and more powerful, customizable weapons for survival, says Josh Bridge, executive producer of "Dead Rising 3."
The game takes place a decade after “Dead Rising 2” in the city of Los Perdidos, Calif., 72 hours after a zombie outbreak. The city has been quarantined with the game’s everyman hero, Nick Ramos, trapped inside among the undead hordes. He must find a way out.
“Dead Rising 3” also features Xbox SmartGlass and Kinect integration. Use Xbox SmartGlass to call in an airstrike (zombies go boom!) if you get cornered. And Kinect integration means with one motion, you can shove a zombie off of you even while you’re using the controller to do other things in the game.
