On Xbox One, sharing is caring. The new console is built to make it easy for you to share digital games and Xbox Live Gold benefits with your friends and family, writes Chief Product Officer Mark Whitten in this Xbox Wire post.
Digital games from your library can be played by anyone in your home, even if the game owner is not signed in. If you’re at a friend’s house, you can use and share your games by signing in on their console. Whitten also notes that when you purchase a new game, you can start playing before the game is fully downloaded, and that digital games you purchase on a friend’s console will be waiting for you on your home console when you return.
