Hey, PhoneGap mobile app developers – want a shot at winning a Surface Pro or a Windows Phone 8 device?
Here’s your chance: Today, Windows Phone launched a Porting Challenge for developers who have created apps for other app stores such as iTunes and Google Play, by using PhoneGap to port their apps over to Windows Phone 8.
For those who don’t know, PhoneGap is an open source framework developers can use to create mobile apps using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The challenge starts today and runs through June 30. Winners will be announced July 19 at the PhoneGap Dayevent in Portland, Ore. The challenge is open to developers in all countries and regions where Windows Phone Dev Center registration is available. Read the complete rules for all the details before you sign up at http://www.phonegapwpchallenge.com/.
