Businesses now have direct access to Windows Embedded 8 technology

As part of Microsoft’s commitment to help enterprises capitalize on the company’s devices and services strategy, and to harness the power of Windows throughout intelligent systems, specific versions of Windows Embedded 8 are now available directly from Microsoft.

The new volume licensing options for specific versions of Windows Embedded 8 offer businesses the opportunity to upgrade their software to Windows Embedded 8 Industry, seamlessly and affordably, without upgrading their devices.

In March, Microsoft marked a major milestone for enterprises, OEMs and our entire ecosystem in announcing general availability of Windows Embedded 8.
